Training & Certification
Aventura training programs consist of multiple levels:
- Aventura Certified Systems Professional
- Aventura Certified Advanced Professional
- Aventura Certified Systems Engineer
- Aventura Certified Enterprise Engineer
- Aventura Certified Software Engineer
Aventura Certified Systems Professional
This one-day course offers the attendee a general understanding of the Aventura DVR/NVR hardware and software solution. The course covers:
- Education in IP and analog infrastructure and their attributes and weaknesses
- Architecting video surveillance systems for "real world" basic environments
- Aventura software knowledge and product configuration
Aventura Certified Advanced Professional
This three-day course exposes the attendee to sophisticated integration applications that cover end-to-end solutions. The course covers:

Education in IP and analog infrastructure and their attributes and weaknesses
- Architecting video surveillance systems for "real world" advanced environments
- Aventura software knowledge and product configuration
- Architectural design addressing third party systems (access control, PSIM, life safety, etc.)
- Managing and administration of a complex expansive system
- Architecting fault tolerance, redundancy and networks
- Writing a specifications document for procurement
Aventura Certified Systems Engineer
This three-day course offers the attendee the ability to service and maintain Aventura DVR/NVR hardware and complete repairs. The course covers:
- Education in IP and analog infrastructure and their attributes and weaknesses
- Aventura DVR/NVR/CMS software knowledge and product configuration
- Integration/design architecture and hardware connectivity
- Troubleshooting hardware/software and maintenance
- Networking and system configuration
Aventura Certified Enterprise Engineer
This five-day course offers the attendee the ability to service, maintain, modify and repair the entire product line of Aventura DVR/NVR/CMS hardware and software solutions. The course covers:
- Education in IP and analog infrastructure and their attributes and weaknesses
- Aventura DVR/NVR/CMS hardware/software knowledge and product configuration
- Integration/design architecture and hardware connectivity for enterprise
- Troubleshooting, repairs and replacement of hardware/software and maintenance
- Networking and system configuration for enterprise
- Advanced systems integration with an emphasis on fault-tolerance, failovers, data security
- Engineering systems and testing procedures for federal compliance
Aventura Certified Software Engineer
The two-day course offers the user a working knowledge of how to develop applications utilizing the Aventura software development kit (SDK). While there are no formal requirements for participating in the program the user shall demonstrate their ability to develop applications in C#, C++, VB, Java or other languages which use ActiveX controls.
Custom Certification
Aventura can customize training and certification programs to customer requirements. Such programs may address specific technological education on Aventura products or may provide a concentration on general education.
Training Location
Training courses may be conducted on-site or at an Aventura regional office. Many programs may be offered as a webinar when hands-on training is not required.
