Hard Drive Docking Station

The DMB-HDDS is an optional accessory for the DMB series mobile DVR. It allows a user to view recorded data on a DMB series removable hard drive via a client workstation (not included). Interface to the workstation can be accomplished via USB or eSATA connectors. In a typical installation, a hard drive with critical data is removed from the mobile environment, such as a bus or other transit vehicle, and reviewed in an administration office using the DMB-HDDS hard drive docking station. A replacement hard drive is installed within the mobile DVR, and the vehicle put back into service, with a minimum of service down time.
